We aren't in a recession.

We are in a depression.

It started 20 years ago.

Incarceration, suicide, and drug addiction have skyrocketed since 2000 as the workforce participation rate plummeted, and wealth inequality reached historic levels.

Ordinary citizens need a "bailout." If you are elected, what will you do to compensate lower and middle-class Americans for the needless suffering they have experienced over the last two decades? What will you do to ensure our economy works for everyone going forward?
